It is with much sadness that I have to report the death of a great friend and fellow biker David (Cookie) Cook. We were travelling back from the South of France on Friday 14th June when he was hit head-on by a woman driver who was on the wrong side of the road. He was air-lifted to Marseille hospital but unfortunately died shortly after arrival. He suffered severe internal blood loss which brought on a massive heart attack.
The funeral will take place on Friday 5th July 2:10 at Gornal Crematorium followed by the wake at Old Halesonians Rugby Club. Cookie had two loves in life – biking and rugby.
Donations are to the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Our sincere condolences go to Joy, his wife, Adam his son and Chloe his daughter.
He will always be remembered and never forgotten.
