HAGGS BANK BUNKHOUSE AND CAMPSITE is pleased to announce a partnership agreement between themselves and STAHLKOFFER PANNIERS LTD.
Haggs Bank Bunkhouse is a modern conversion of the Haggs Bank Mine Shop, and the adjoining wild-flower meadow is a camp-site with camper/caravan area.
Set in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (often described as one of England’s last wildernesses) and directly on the Coast to Coast Route, the location, with stunning views, is ideal for bikers and anyone who loves the great outdoors. The 36 mile Issac’s Tea Trail walk passes through the site. Cycle hire is available close by and can be arranged through the Bunkhouse as can other activities such as exploration of the area’s former lead mines. The River Nent flows through the grounds and canoeing is available in nearby Alston. With plenty of off road routes, the area is also ideal for 4×4 enthusiasts.
The Bunkhouse has a fully equipped self catering kitchen, social room and two bunk rooms. It sleeps up to 23. With its own private supply of spring water, there is a purpose built outdoor equipment washing area and drying area. A secure bike and gear store is also available.
Anyone ordering a set of Stahlkoffer Panniers will receive a voucher entitling them to TWO FREE NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION at the BUNKHOUSE or CAMP SITE.
